Unus Mundus is comprised of a maze that helps visitors empathise with people with schizophrenia. The maze represents an inner journey towards peace and balance. The maze's walls are made of translucent fabric, creating a feeling of "Am I inside or outside?" similar to a schizophrenic delirium. The maze's entrance invites visitors to take a keychain with a hidden message that is revealed when it's wet. A water fountain in the final room helps visitors read the message. Whenever one tries to water the keychain under the faucet, a sensor turns it off, bringing that aspect of "what you see is not necessarily there". The sensor activation also triggers an internet module, tweeting a message to the project's page and reinforcing both individual and collective aspects of the illness.
